The Partnership

We wanted to reinforce the need for allergy relief indoors and out by encouraging parents to help us create a school playground. To accomplish this, we worked with KaBOOM!, a nonprofit dedicated to “saving play” for children.

The Strategy

We focused on the back-to-school market and moms who were helping their kids get the most out of their school experience, in and out of the classroom. We created custom packaging to influence purchasers and strengthen Claritin’s in-store presence. All communications drove customers to a Facebook page where they could choose from 12 schools across the nation, see their stories, and vote on the school most deserving of a new playground.

The Reward

This project went far beyond our client’s goals. It was highly rewarding work because we helped inspire and strengthen children’s imaginations, which is dear to my heart. I feel great knowing we helped build playgrounds in four schools, playgrounds that empower children to explore their innocence, their imagination and creativity, and help nurture important skills they will carry throughout their lives.

Alternative Options

To show the variations I designed for the client, here are some alternate packaging options.
